Our story began in 2012 in a small kitchen in New Zealand. Experimenting with different starters to create authentic cheeses and yogurts, our brand was born.
THE UN-MAKEABLE PRODUCT
We worked on our formulations and recipes until they were perfect. But try as we might, we couldn’t find a partner to make our range. Nobody wanted our unique bacteria in their plant. So we decided to do it ourselves.
WE BUILT A CUPBOARD
Our small but perfect bacteria deserved a small but perfect production facility, not a faceless factory. We built our state of the art, FDA registered Culture Cupboard®, where we blend and craft every small batch, fresh and live.
